I am Stacey Angelillo and I am an artist, author, illustrator, and educator. I got my BFA in Art Education at Moore College of Art and Design in 2014 and have been teaching K-12 art ever since. In my educational practice, I have a passion for mural painting, implementing 3D printing into my curriculum, and participating in set painting and costuming for theater performances. My most important missions are to hold a safe space for LGBTQIA+ youth to live their truths and tell their stories through art, and to implement unique practices that encourage students not to abandon art in their adolescence, as they so often do.
